While at Artisan, players get detailed measurements performed on their current set of golf clubs, take a tour of the shop, and meet our founders Mike Taylor and John Hatfield. To schedule an in-person fitting please go to the "get fit" page.

We understand that traveling to our facility in Fort Worth, TX can be difficult for players that are not local to our area but live in the United States. This remote iron fitting provides these players with an opportunity to get the most out of their iron builds by working alongside our expert fitting staff. To eliminate all the guesswork, we suggest each player ship us at least a 5,7,9 iron of their current iron set for us to take detailed measurements by utilizing our Remote Fitting option. There is no “standard” when it comes to critical golf club specifications across OEMs, and we would like to get a good understanding of what you play to determine the best plan on your custom Artisan Iron set:

  • A minimum of four irons are required for each order.

  • Irons start at $360 per club. Premium shaft, grip, and ferrule options are available at a slight upcharge.

  • Artisan Irons are available in satin chrome finish.

  • Custom ground iron sets are not available at this time.

  • Orders shipped to Texas will be subject to an 8.25% sales tax.

Below outlines the steps for continuing with a remote iron order:

1. Purchase this remote iron deposit to officially start your remote iron fitting.

2. An email  will be immediately sent with a link to an online fitting questionnaire to be completed for the Artisan team to learn more about your game and current equipment.

3. Send your 5,7,9 partial iron set to Artisan for detailed measurements by our fitting team by using pre-paid shipping label emailed to you.

4. Once your iron set is packed and labeled, head to your local FedEx location to ship to Artisan.

5. Once your irons arrive at Artisan, our fitting staff will measure your equipment within 1 business day of receiving your irons. Once measured, Artisan will ship your partial iron set back via FedEx.

6. Once both the online fitting questionnaire and measurements are completed one of our Artisan fitters will contact you to schedule a call to recommend your Artisan iron set.

7. In this phone call we will discuss your iron measurements and ask you any clarifying questions about your questionnaire. This will give us an accurate picture of your golf game and the clubs you have been playing. Additional launch monitor data or swing videos are encouraged but not required.

8. During this consultation, an iron order quote will be completed for your set detailing iron composition, loft, lie, length, shaft, and grip. Players also have the option to further customize their iron set with initial stamping, paint fill, and custom ferrules.

9. If you decide to proceed with the custom iron set, you will receive an invoice to your email for the full amount of the iron set. Upon receipt of payment, we will begin the manufacturing of your irons. The estimated time for completion of the iron set is three weeks plus shipping time. While currently uncommon, delays may occur if shaft and grip components are backordered. If an order is expected to be impacted by component delays, customers will be updated on the impact to the timeline. Express shipping options available if needed.

10. If you decide that you are not interested in pursuing an iron set at this time, you will still be provided with the detailed measurements of your golf clubs and your golf clubs returned to your address. We will keep your records on file for one year from the date of the virtual fitting should you decide within a year to pursue your iron build. After a year, you will be required to begin the process in its entirety.

11. Irons sent in for measurements will be returned to each player once we have completed the measurement process at our facility. Upon completion of your Artisan Irons, we will personally reach out to confirm where you would like your set to be shipped as well as ensure you are aware of their estimated arrival.
