Artisan Golf believes that the best results come from our in-person tour level fittings. These fittings provide a memorable experience for players who desire to learn and challenge themselves in our world class fitting facility. Fittings are conducted outdoors on real grass using premium golf balls and the latest in launch monitor technology by our expert club fitters. Players can evaluate multiple clubheads alongside a vast array of premium shaft offerings from numerous leading shaft manufacturers. While at our facility, players get detailed measurements performed on their current set of golf clubs, take a tour of the shop, and meet our founders John Hatfield and Mike Taylor.

We understand that coming to our facility in Fort Worth, TX can be difficult for players that are not local to our area but live in the United States. This remote iron fitting provides these players with an opportunity to get the most out of their iron builds by working alongside our expert fitting staff. To eliminate all the guesswork, we require each player to ship us a partial set of their current irons for us to take detailed measurements. There is no “standard” when it comes to critical golf club specifications across OEMs, and we will need to get a good understanding of what you play to determine the best plan on your custom Artisan Iron set.

  • A minimum of four irons are required for each order.
  • Irons start at $360 per club which include a tour velvet grip and a standard dynamic gold shaft. Premium shaft, grip, and ferrule options are available at a slight upcharge.
  • Artisan Irons are available in satin chrome finish.
  • Custom ground iron sets are not available at this time.
  • Orders shipped to Texas will be subject to an 8.25% sales tax.

Below outlines the steps for continuing with a remote iron fitting.

  1. Purchase this Iron Consultation to officially start your remote iron fitting.
  2. An email will immediately be sent with a link to an online fitting questionnaire to be completed for the Artisan team to learn more about your game and current equipment.
  3. A shipping box with packing supplies will be mailed to the shipping address provided at checkout to provide you with an easy means of shipping your partial iron set for detailed measurements by our master club builders.
  4. Upon receipt of the shipping box, please utilize the provided shipping materials and place your 5i, 7i, 9i, PW inside the box and drop off at your local FedEx location with the provided return shipping label.
  5. Once your irons arrive at Artisan, our fitting staff will measure your equipment for loft, lie, length, total weight, and swing weight.
  6. Once the online fitting questionnaire is completed and measurements have been taken a representative from our staff will contact you to schedule a call to discuss your iron project.
  7. In this phone call we will discuss the measurements of your irons and ask any clarifying questions about your questionnaire. This will give us an accurate picture of your golf game and the clubs you have been playing. Additional launch monitor data or swing videos are encouraged but not required.
  8. During this consultation, an iron order quote will be completed for your set detailing iron composition, loft, lie, length, shaft, and grip. Players also have the option to further customize their iron set with initial stamping, paint fill, and custom ferrules.
  9. If you decide to proceed with the custom iron set, you will receive an invoice to your email for the full amount of the iron set. Upon receipt of payment, we will begin the manufacturing of your irons. Estimated time for completion of the iron set is three weeks plus shipping time. While currently uncommon, delays may occur if shaft and grip components are backordered. If an order is expected to be impacted by component delays, customers will be updated on the impact to the timeline. Express shipping options available if needed.
  10. If you decide that you are not interested in pursuing an iron set at this time, you will still be provided with the detailed measurements of your golf clubs and your golf clubs returned to your address. We will keep your records on file for one year from the date of the virtual fitting should you decide within a year to pursue your iron build. After a year, you will be required to begin the process in its entirety.
  11. Irons sent in for measurements will be returned to each player once we have completed the measurement process at our facility. Upon completion of your Artisan Irons, we will personally reach out to confirm where you would like your set to be shipped as well as ensure you are aware of their estimated arrival.
