Wedge Custom Guide
Make it your own! Each Artisan wedge is custom ground by Mike Taylor at our Fort Worth, Texas facility. Wedges range from 46 to 62 degrees of loft with unique sole designs. From there, everything from the finish, stampings, logos, paint-fill, and hand polishing is up to you as you come up with your perfect handcrafted wedges. Artisan custom options are truly endless!
Our custom guide below is a great resource to learn about some of the options available to each player during the custom wedge build. Please do not hesitate to ask as we like to have fun and make these custom creations as unique as possible.

Ready for a set of tour-worthy wedges? The ultimate experience is visiting Artisan's facility for an in-person fitting. We offer lofts from 45 to 62 and have a a variety of grind options to test on real turf. After working in our short game area, we will guide you through designing your handcrafted wedges
Artisan wedges are made from traditional, low carbon forgings that are 4-axis machined to shape. This milling controls the geometries precisely and therefore controls the weight to the tightest tolerances.

**At this time, due to our limited capacity, wedge orders are only available after in person fittings at our HQ in Fort Worth, Texas.**
Spend half the day with our expert fitting staff here in Fort Worth, TX for the ultimate wedge experience. You will get an exclusive tour of our private facility as you learn about how we create all of our golf clubs. During the fitting we will start by measuring your current wedge set as we go over any issues we see from builds quality to club gapping. Players will then head outside as we hit premium tour golf balls onto our private Par 3 short game area evaluating sole grinds and shaft options from most major OEM's. Players will be asked to hit a variety of shots from around the green chipping, short pitches, and half shots as we evaluate the best wedge combination for the shots you play. The day concludes inside to go over the results and finalize your new custom wedge set.

9 weeks after fitting
Email us at contact@artisangolftx.com to get started. We save extremely detailed sole grind and build specifications from every wedge we make in order to go over a reorder remotely without requiring an additional fitting or in person consultation. Each wedge has a unique serial number which includes your player number that ties back to our build sheets. Once we pull your wedge data we will reach out to you to go over if you want an exact replica or to try something new based on new or varying turf conditions or wedge gapping targets.
