Artisan's putter philosophy of the club or tool matching your technique is fundamental to our fitting process. We understand your tool  trains, develops habits (bad or good), and either limits or maximizes your potential. Artisan has a process to give you the tool you need for your technique to play your best.

 

Artisan believes in testing. A fitting is only as good your ability to test the putter. We've designed a putter fitting systems that replicates an Artisan putter. We take this system both indoors and outdoors Only when we satisfy your needs for performance, feel, look do we recommend a putter. After you'll have confidence in knowing your Artisan putter was  built to your exact specifications.

ARTISAN'S PUTTER FITTING

1. Artisan's Philosophy: Your Tools Train You

From the best players in the world to your 25 hcp will all over-time adjust to their equipment and manipulate the putter to get their desired ball-roll. 

The reality is the club or tool you use trains you overtime and if it's not perfect you'll manipulate your stroke and setup to try to get an ok result

We've designed a putter fitting process that not only gives you the correct tool, but we go in depth in the technique you need to play to your ability.

2. Artisan's Unique Putter Fitting System

Artisan designed a custom fitting system to test their 9 signature putter models.

 

Artisans  allows the ability to independently test head-shape, neck, length, and weight.

Best of all performs, feels, looks what you expect from an Artisan putter.

3. We test in the real-world

Our process starts indoors, but we like to fit in the dirt and get outside in the real-world because that's where you play your golf. 

We test on a variety of different putts which reveal to us your tendencies. Our goal is to make your misses smaller "tighter" and enable a pure-roll that is a direct result of the tool and the technique you use.

4. The Build

Everything about the putter is recorded, documented, and built your exact specifications. 

At the end you'll be recommended an exact model, neck style, loft, lie, length, shaft, and grip

We'll engrave your Artisan player number into your putter and use this as a reference for future builds.

1. Measuring your current putter and understand your technique is a result of the tool you've been using

2. The fitting is also a lesson. We will build your test putter in real-time that allows for the appropriate set-up & technique to enable your best performance. 

3. Test putter in the real-world because that's where you play with slopes, curvature, real bermuda grass.

4. Fitter will determine the correct combination to allow for the most optimal performance for your golf clubs and document the fitting result

A unique player number is assigned to you, your recommendation is documented, and archived for future builds.

The first step to putting Artisan irons in your bag is a fitting session with our master fitters. Our experts will guide you through the process, ensuring that your irons are tailored to your swing and playing style.

While we get the best results out of in person fittings, remote orders for domestic customers who have a good understanding of their iron specs will be considered. Please email contact@artisangolftx.com for more information and to begin a remote consultation with one of our iron specialists.
