Service Description

**Available in Right Handed Only** Visit Artisan Golf in Fort Worth, TX for the ultimate wedge fitting experience. The wedge fitting will last around 3 hours alongside one of our veteran wedge fitters. $100 of the fitting experience will go towards the purchase of your custom wedge set. At the start of each fitting, we will measure and document your current wedge set so we have a good starting point of the specs you are used to working with. Loft / Lie / Length are critical specifications that are not standardized across the golf industry. Artisan will also measure your leading edge heights which is a unique measurement that shows the resultant of your wedge bounce and sole width. Based on the data, we will go over any inconsistencies and start to plan the wedge grind, loft, and shaft options we will test outdoors. Artisan Golf fits with most major shaft offerings in steel and graphite in regular, stiff, and extra stiff from True Temper, Nippon, Project X, KBS, UST, LA GOLF, Mitsubishi, Fujikura, and more. Fittings will then move outside to our private range area where we can get to work. At this time, players will typically spend some time warming up as we set up our Trackman system to record all your shot data. Once warmed up, you will then work alongside our fitting staff to test their expertly handpicked shaft options to find the perfect ball flight on full shots. Once we have a good idea on the shaft that works best for you, we will head to our short game area to test wedge grinds from a variety of shots. Players will be challenged with bunker shots, green side chips, short pitches, half shots, and full shots into greens from a variety of locations to find the perfect balance in each wedge sole grind using premium tour golf balls. When we feel confident in the wedge set makeup and construction we will then head back inside our workshop to finalize your custom wedge set. Custom finishes, ferrules, stamping, and paint colors will be selected to finish off your bespoke wedge set. Every fitting ends with a tour of our facility where you can check out the process of how we make some of the finest hand made custom golf clubs right here in Fort Worth, TX. Unless contacted by an Artisan Team Member for cancellation, all booked appointments will commence. If customer does not show up for scheduled appointment, $50 cancellation fee will be charged to the card on file.

Fittings can be rescheduled at no cost by emailing contact@artisangolftx.com subject to availability. If you need to cancel the fitting, the fitting fee minus a $30 cancellation fee will be refunded to your original method of payment.
